A Public Statement Regarding the Ministry of Isaac Tasobya
We have written this warning statement to make the general public aware of serious concerns regarding the ministry of Isaac Tasobya, a former leader in our ministry, The Last Reformation (TLR), in Uganda.
We feel a responsibility to raise awareness about Isaac’s personal misconduct and dishonest ministry practices, which have caused harm to people. These include: sexual impropriety, financial wrongdoing involving entrusted funds, and a persistent pattern of deception and dishonesty.
When Isaac’s misconduct first came to light, he was removed from leadership. But rather than submitting to accountability within our ministry, he left TLR and chose to continue his public ministry as a pastor in his father’s church “New Life in Christ Ministries.”
Now, a few years later, additional concerns came to light through our connections in Europe and Canada, ultimately compelling us to issue this statement. Considerable effort has been made over the period of several months to confirm the accuracy of the accounts we received.
Isaac has repeatedly refused to turn away from his misdeeds when confronted, not only by us but also by leaders in other ministries. He does not recognize the authority of Jesus Christ in His Body, the Church.
We sincerely hope that by releasing this statement, further harm to others can be prevented. We encourage everyone to read the statement carefully and share it responsibly with those who may need to be aware of these concerns.
